Step Six: YOUR Best
Can you think of a day when you felt absolutely wonderful for no reason at all?
You don't know why you felt so good, you just did. You were confident, energetic, exuberant, your mind was focused, your thinking sharp, you knew you could conquer the world. Do you remember a day like that?
Remember that day and those wonderful, excited, happy feelings in vivid, vibrant detail. Feel the excitement, the happiness, the power, your confidence and recall your clear, acute thinking. Remember those wonderful feelings, relish them and recreate them in your mind.
Continue to enjoy and embrace those confident, wonderful feelings and then project them. Radiate confident, wonderful, happy feelings.
If you're doing this genuinely and sincerely you'll begin to recreate that wonderful happy state in your mind. The more you practice it, the faster, easier and more powerful the process becomes.
You'll find you'll be able to step into that magical, wonderful, confident, happy state whenever you wish. Practice it and enjoy it. Know how to step into your magic zone when ever you want or need to feel and perform your best.
Always trying to do YOUR best, feel YOUR best and be at your best all of the time is a powerful Happiness Habit. The key is YOUR best and not someone else's best. By focusing on doing good things and performing well, we feel good.
This illustrates The First Law of Happiness: Our Focus Determines Our Feelings. When we focus our time and attention on things we think are bad, we feel sad, angry or anxious.
When we focus our time and attention on good things we feel excited, enthusiastic, elevated. Focusing on doing good makes us feel good.
We will never feel good by focusing on how badly we feel or on how poorly we think we are doing.
Continually try to do YOUR best, feel YOUR best and be at YOUR best all of the time. You'll feel good and YOUR best will continue to get better.
